Alex and Kate met in college through their mutual love of glass and art. During their time at UW River Falls, they became friends through glass blowing. As their talents in glass grew so did their interest in each other. After a year of friendship, the dynamic duo began dating. Within three months they traveled through Europe, learning about the world and themselves. This would mark just the first of many adventures that they would have. After they both graduated undergrad they moved out to upstate New York, where Kate finished her master's in fine arts degree. While there Alex took a knee at Letchworth state park and asked Kate to spend her life with him, she said yes. They have now been together for over four years and have migrated east where they now reside in Pennsylvania with their small dog Gizmo and fish Reginald. There they live, work, and continue to make art. Currently, they are building a private studio with the dream of opening it to the community to share their love of glass, neon, ceramics, and art.
